In Uganda, the path to higher education is fraught with obstacles, especially for orphaned and underprivileged students. Education is a fundamental right, yet for many, it remains an elusive dream. At Sustainable Development Community e. V. , we are dedicated to turning that dream into a reality through our Highschool Sponsorship Program.

Transforming Communities Through Action and Compassion
Every year at the Feast of Sacrifice (Bayram), we enable Muslims in Germany to perform their Kurban according to Islamic tradition in Uganda – where the sacrifice satisfies real hunger and feeds entire villages.
Support us with the construction of a maize mill in Uganda, which supplies over 10,000 children – including 1,000 orphans – with nutritious maize flour every day. The project combats hunger, creates jobs and strengthens the self-sufficiency of the rural population.
Giving 48 vulnerable children in Uganda the chance to hear, learn, and thrive — this project provides custom-fitted hearing aids, professional care, and inclusive education support for children with hearing impairments. In partnership with local experts, HearEase transforms silence into opportunity.
What we can achieve together.
The project in Santa María de Jesús in Guatemala is improving the water supply with solar pumps, cisterns and new pipes. In addition, a sustainable waste management system is being established with recycling, waste collection and education. A health center is also planned for the long term.
In Battambang, Cambodia, a school construction project is planned to give children in rural areas access to safe and high-quality education.
The project to support Municipal Hospital No. 3 in Chernihiv, Ukraine, focuses on restoring and modernizing the medical infrastructure.
